EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES (EMS)

The Rudolph Fire Department has a total of 31 EMS personnel who are licensed at the EMR and EMT level.  They provide initial life saving treatments, provide patient care, and assist the responding ambulance crews in both Wood and Portage Counties.  Our personnel are trained in several skills advanced skills and are able to administer certain medications depending on their license level.  Below is a list of some of the skills and medications.


  • Non-Visualized Airway
  • Mechanical CPR (LUCAS Device)
  • CPAP
  • Aspirin
  • Epinephrine for Allergic reactions
  • Albuterol and Atrovent for Asthma
  • Narcan for Opiate Overdoses
  • Oral Glucose for Diabetic Emergencies
